Hurstbourne Priors postponed their fair from May to the August Bank holiday, because of Foot and Mouth. This means that they have only eight months before their next one!
The Punch and Judy Show was one of the star attractions, with face painting, a beer tent, a steam organ and charity stalls.
"It was good to see a high turnout at Hurstbourne Priors, on a splendid Bank Holiday afternoon. Over 2000 people turned up, helping to raise £5000, shared between the Church, the Village Hall and the recreation ground."
