The Mayor of Test Valley - far right - attended a Service of Prayer for the victims of the tragedy in the USA, arranged by Rev David Williams - left - and Rev Jill Bentall. It was held in the open air in Andover, by the statue of the American Indian - behind David Williams - commemorating the link between Andover Hampshire and Andover Massachusetts.
"This was a moving service, attended by some of the American families in the area as well as people from Andover. Given the short notice at which it was held and the poor weather on Sunday afternoon, there was a very high turnout - showing that people of Andover are extending their sympathy and support to their American friends."
