Sir George talks to James Coatsworth, of Tadley and District Youth Council, about James' campaign to improve the bus service from Tadley to Basingstoke.
"Young people living in Tadley need to go to Basingstoke to College, and to the new Leisure Centre on the edge of the town. The bus is the only way most of them have to get around, and the service has been unreliable. I welcome James' campaign to do something about this; and to work through the Youth Council for more provision for young people in Tadley."

Sir George said he had been greatly encouraged by the meeting, which showed that many young people cared about the villages and towns in which they lived and wanted to make them better places. "The problem for us politicians is that they don't think we are relevant. And it is a problem for us rather than for them. We have to show that the mainstream political parties understand them and are able to represent them."
