Regulars from the Coronation Arms in St Mary Bourne won the annual Clay Pigeon Team Competition at Binley, held at the home of Jeff and Jenny Harrison. The Trout Farmers came second.

Best individual shot was Anthony Harper, with 69 out of a possible 70, seen receiving his prize from Sir George.

"This was another very successful function, well-organised by Philip Winchcombe (left of picture). There were a record number of entries this year, as interest in this sport increases. Call-up papers are in the post for the successful team."
