While in Tadley, Sir George listened to the Tadley Concert Brass Training Band playing carols outside Budgens.

About Tadley Concert Brass
The Tadley Concert Brass is one of two local bands. The band is made up entirely of local players and has been in its current form for more than 25 years. Its roots can be traced back to the original band in Tadley over 100 years ago. They have a purpose built practice room that was recently completed on the grounds of Tadley Rugby Club. The main band practices on Monday evenings at 8pm. The Training Band practices on Saturday mornings for an hour at 9.30am. The Training Band are pleased to welcome anyone of any age who wishes to learn to play. Members of the main band help with tuition.

Main band is playing carols at the Anvil, Basingstoke approximately 21.00 on Saturday 22 December.
Crib Service at St Paul's Church, Tadley, at around 16.30 on Monday 24th December.
