Sir George presses for change in sex abuse laws
22 Mar 2002
Following a complaint from a constituent, Sir George is in touch with the Home Office about enforcement of legislation concerning abuse of children.
"There is some evidence that paedophiles know what behaviour will be prosecuted, and what behaviour will not. As a result, they are going as far as is legally possible, even though that behaviour is totally inappropriate."

said Sir George, whose support to a constituent in this matter was reported in the Andover Advertiser this week.
