I am concerned that Scats cannot renew their shop lease in the weyhill road but not surprised.
Tesco are the landlords and bought the building 2 years ago to ensure they had control over it, hoping that they could move into it or stop a rival having it. I know they are the landlords as someone who rents the flat above Scats (who is no longer there) told me her landlord was Tesco and that she was surprised that she hadn't been informed of the change. This shows how powerful Tesco has become which is very worrying, they buy up a lot of this sort of commercial property hoping to have Tesco Metro stores. I do not think they should be allowed to become so powerful. The Andover Advertiser are not naming them and I think this is deliberate, they do not want to upset them. I am disgusted.
