| Objection to Andover Airfield Development |
| The issue: |
I strongly object to the proposed warehouse development the Andover Airfield.
As a new resident of Penton Harroway (as of Friday last) I was dismayed and horrified to find out of the new proposals.
Weyhill road, as well as Monxton Road will be become a health & safety hazzard for local residents.
The additional traffic will without doubt cause an increase in traffic accidents. Possibly, increasing fatality rates.
The noise and potential smoke pollution from the additional traffic, could cause many residents to develop medical conditions such as ashma as well as skin allergies to the pollutants in the air.
The carbon footprint of Andover and its surrounding area would be one of the worst UK wide.
Employees at the DE&S site will encounter long delays on the commute to work, this will only get worse with the decant of Land Command, from Salisbury.
