Sir my children were recently taken off the DENTIST because of a new law about dentists having to meet GOVERNMENT TARGETS WE CANCELLED the last appointment and then received a letter telling us that my children have now been struck off their list as we have missed three appointments `2006 ,2007 and acancelled one this year .There is no NHS dentist available in Andover to take them on SO THEY WILL GET NO DENTAL CARE NOW .This disgusting and all about hitting GOVERNMENT TARGETS .Something must be done about it now |

Many thanks for the email, and I was sorry to hear of the problems that confront you and your children.
If you let me know who your dentist was, I would be happy to approach him and see what might be done.
I fear there is a shortage of NHS dentists in my constituency, and I have been in touch with Ministers about this.
