| RE: Cervical cancer jabs for 12 year olds |
| The issue: |
Dear Sir George,
Having read last week's horror story on Rebecca Ramagge in the Newbury Weekley News, and other stories elsewhere, I am so glad that we did NOT consent to our daughter receiving the course of cervical cancer jabs. Evidence has shown that there are adverse side effects, and we were right to consider the risk to health to high. I am surprised that local schools are continuing with this treatment until the drug is properly tested, and think this matter should be brought up in parliament. I would also seriously urge any parent of 11/12 year olds to make an informed choice about their daughter(s) taking such a controversial drug next school year.
Is there anything you can do too?
yours sincerely
Gareth Martin
