Closure of HSBC branch in Whitchurch
The issue: Thank you for all your help in communicating with the local offices of HSBC in this matter. Please would you ask the HSBC to give full instructions as to how those who cannot reach the Overton and Andover branches can still access their services. I find their internet facility useful when I need to keep track of my bank account and make transfers etc. However in particular I, being disabled and unable to drive, along with trying to start a small business, will find it difficult to deposit cheques and small amounts of cash. Giving advice such as this to all members of the community will help myself, and others in similar positions, enormously to understand how to overcome this enforced change. I have attempted to communicate with the bank myself but found it difficult to have any straight answers about posting cheques or using the Post Office. I hope an overall advice note about easy alternatives will help us all.
