| VJ Day 60th anniversary |

Dear Sir George
My Uncle served in Burma and was an active member of the Burma Star Association until his early death from the effects of his service in that arena. I was shocked to see in the press today that an arbitary date has been set by the government for the official celebration of the 60th anniversary of VJ Day. The anniversary is the 15th august, please add your voice to the protests of the veterans of the 'forgotton army' to have the correct date reinstated.
