Sir George supports Ethical Tea Partnership 1 Feb 2005

"Basically, those tea companies who have signed up to the Ethical Tea Partnership monitor the living and working conditions on the tea estates in the countries that produce the tea. I am delighted that two-thirds of the tea sold in the UK comes from member companies, and of course I am very proud of Twinings of the leading role that it has played in this movement. When we buy our tea, we want to know that is has been produced in a socially responsible way, and that the appropriate regulations in the tea producing countries have been observed." http://www.ethicalteapartnership.org
